Welcome
In co-operation with the Thailand Tourism and Sports Ministry of Thailand I have created 1st Tee Up-Thailand. Our mission is to bring the opportunity to play golf to children that do not have access to or the means to play golf. We will go to rural and inter city schools to teach this wonderful game to those that otherwise would have virtually no chance to ever play.
I believe that the game of golf is much more than just a game. It teaches many life skills and builds strong character in our youth. It is a statistical fact that most golfers try to acheive more out of life and are more productive citizens.
We want to grow the game of golf in Thailand to the point where the Thai golf courses do not have to depend so much on income from tourist. As you may know, last year the Thai tourist business suffered tremendously and golf courses here struggled to survive financially. I believe that in just a few short years that Thai golfers will grow in numbers and be able to support Thai golf courses.
With your help we can give these less fortunate children the opportunity that is presently only available to the wealthy. Together we can change their lives and the end benefit will be a better Thailand.
